"Why, Grover Cleveland spanked me twice, on non-consecutive occasions..."

No matter how much free time I get, I keep neglecting to post anything onto the blog, which just got some new committed readership (thanks to Johnnycakes, who just posted a comment to a 2-month old post - a comment that included a wang joke that was outdated in 1999).

Spent the weekend outside of Cleveland at the final wedding of the summer. According to the groom, the whole thing followed a 3-point plan:

A) You bring your "A" Game

B) I'll bring my "A" Game

C) "A" Game!!!

[Bear in mind that said groom is a chemical engineer who makes about 6 times my annual salary...]

I've got one more week before my boring commute starts back up, so I'm finally getting around to watching all of the recent incarnation of Battlestar Galactica, the topic-du-jour at last April's Pop Culture Association conference. I'd previously resisted watching the show on Sci-Fi, despite the glowing recommendations and reviews everyone gives it. It's one hell of a show, but I'm really having a tough time suspending my disbelief at a few of the show's key plotpoints. Eh, even with some major flaws, it's still better than anything on TV this summer.

I've been meaning to post this video for a while now. I'm not at all up-to-date on what the young people are listening to, but I love videos about cyborg pirates:

PS- Buck Henry is on Daily Show right now with his new segment, "The Henry Stops Here" - seriously, the man is a genius. And he just made a joke about Joseph Pulitzer punching people in the nuts. Genius.

I'd just like to point out that as someone who spends most of his time in the Middle Ages, 1999 isn't really that outdated.

And besides, I don't know that many wang jokes. I am only a humble apprentice when compared to Bowlegged_Lou and his knowledge of all things wangtastic...
