Permafrost - it's nature's mittens!

It was 1 degree outside when I left for school this morning. That's just not right.

It's the final week of the semester, so I'll be updating frequently on my progress:

  • Student portfolios are all ready to be submitted (with 2 exceptions who didn't come to class on Tuesday)

  • I'm having terrible writer's block, and I haven't been able to get through my second book review for IJOCA. It was due last weekend, but it'll be accepted if I can get in in by the end of the work week.

  • I have most of the source material for my Ritual Theory final project (designing a "Ritual and Media Theory" syllabus and course plan); since I officially don't care about this class, I'm not planning on spending more than a couple hours on it.

  • I still have my final paper for German Film due on Tuesday. The primary challenge here is to connect all of my disparate notes on Mabuse, Herzog, and the Gaze into a coherent argument.

  • All of my CMM 110 students are handing in their final presentations tonight, so that'll be out of the way.

  • I need to come back to BG Monday to evaluate portfolios. If I'm lucky, I'll get a stack that's all obviously passing, and it won't take long to complete. If I'm unlucky, then I'll be fairly upset, and maybe cry.
