Hey, we had a colloquium on the "The Uncanny Physics of Superhero Comic Books" last year ... the guy (James Kakalios) led off with Gwen Stacey as an example of comics getting the physics right. He said he gave it to his students as an exam question in the past :-)
Well, what Kakalios didn't realize is that Spider-Man would turn out to be a mystical avatar of the totemic spider god, so his webbing can ignore things like Newtonian physics...
