A Quasi-Celbrity Sighting!

We had quite and enjoyable Sunday yesterday with my parents...lunch at the Nugget, trimmed the tree in our front yard , edged our flower beds, pulled weeds, cleaned out the garage and installed a fan in there. You know, all that crazy homeowner stuff you get to do... It's funny how much Husband wants to make a good impression on my parents. I've never seen him work so hard on a Sunday (or any day really)!

Anyway, we then took in the Dragon's game. They were playing the Kane County Cougars. I didn't even know from what state Kane County haled from until we got to the game, but while perusing the program I learned they are from Illinois and they are part of the Oakland Athletics' system. Then I saw player #24 from Kane County was none other than, wait for it... Shane Keough!

For those of you who are not hopelessly addicted to crappy reality television on Bravo, Shane is one of the kids from The Real Housewives of Orange County. A quasi-celebrity at best but still a fun little extra perk to the game nonetheless. More amusing than just seeing Shane was the fact that my mom had no idea who in the world he was, but my dad was about as excited as I was! Oh dad! He is so funny!

Here is my crappy cell phone picture of him. You can almost decipher that it's him with his standard five o'clock shadow.

So all in all, a pretty exciting day here in D-town!
